The Scottish Government is delivering the largest school building programme in Scotland's history, rebuilding or substantially refurbishing schools across Scotland.
The aim is to have a school estate which is effectively managed and maintained over the long term and which constantly evolves to meet future needs.
To help achieve this aim, every school should be well designed, well built and well managed to inspire children, help teachers and support local and national priorities.
