Quarterly Survey

Each quarter the Scottish Government carries out a survey of Local Authorities asking for information on:

  • Eligibility Criteria and Waiting Times

Prior to April 2012 also the return collected data on the following services:

  • Free Personal and Nursing Care
  • Care Homes
  • Home Care

These are not classified as national statistics but provide useful provisional information on the trends in between the annual NS data collections.

Quarterly - Data Under Development

The paper below presents analysis of the data collected in each quarter from January/March 2010 to October/December 2010. It also details the results of a questionnaire issued to Local Authorities, these results were used to identify differences in collection methodologies and gaps in the guidance. More recent data is available above.
