The Scottish Government and its Agencies collect, analyse and publish equality evidence across a wide range of policy areas. The information has been brought together on the Scottish Government Equality Evidence website an evidence finder which allows users to find evidence by policy area and by equality characteristic.
Children's Social Work Statistics Scotland, 2011-12
Two per cent of children in Scotland were looked after by local authorities or on the child protection register.
