REVIEW OF YOUTH CRIME

Consultation exercise with service providers and users

  1. What works now?
  2. Please give details of any work or projects which specifically address persistent offending behaviour in children and/or young people from the ages of 8 to 18 which you have found to be effective. (Service providers: where possible, give costings per child per week and contact details for any follow-up queries.)

     

  3. What would you like to see done?
  4. Please list any suggestions you would like to make to improve the range and availability of effective options aimed at addressing the behaviour of persistent young offenders in Children’s Hearings and/or the Courts.

     

  5. What changes are needed?

Please list in order of priority up to three suggested changes to legislation, policy or administration systems which you think would improve effectiveness of current work being undertaken with persistent young offenders.
