ScotStat is a network for users and providers of Scottish Official Statistics. It aims to improve communication amongst those interested in particular statistics and facilitate the setting up of working groups on specific statistical issues.

Periodic consultations are conducted on the statistics collected by the Scottish Government. Further information can be found in the Statistics Topic areas, or by viewing information on Statistical Planning

The ScotStat Register

The register allows users and providers of Scottish Statistics to consult on specific topics of interest. Registered users can consult on new collections, seek views on changes to existing collections and receive notification of new or forthcoming publications. You can register or log in here.

A report summarising the memnership of the ScotStat register has been produced.

The Annual Statistics Stakeholder Conference 2009

The 2008 Annual Statistics Stakeholder Conference was held on 29th October at the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh. The event included presentations on a range of topics, and provided delegates the opportunity to discuss issues such as the trust in statistics, dissemination and gaps in Scottish statistics.

Newly established ScotStat Network for analysts from local government and other public bodies
