16. Restriction of Liberty Orders (table 45)
16.1 This is the first appearance of data on Restriction of Liberty Orders
(RLOs) in this bulletin (see annex, paragraph 17.12).
RLOs became available as a disposal to all of Scotland’s High, Sheriff
and Stipendiary courts from May 2002. The data comes from the company responsible
for monitoring RLOs in Scotland, rather than from local authorities.
