Employer Perspectives Survey (EPS) 2019

The Employer Perspectives Survey (EPS) is the principle source for employer views on recruitment of young people, work experience, people development and apprenticeships.

The EPS has taken place every two years since 2010.  It was previously owned and managed by the UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES) and then the Department for Education (DfE).  2019 will be the first time that the Scottish Government has commissioned and managed its own EPS.

The EPS 2019 will involve telephone interviews with a random sample of 2,650 business establishments across Scotland.  The sample will be representative of businesses across Scotland in terms of size, sector and geographic region.

The Scottish Government has commissioned IFF Research to deliver the EPS 2019.  Business establishments in Scotland may receive a phone call from IFF Research inviting them to participate in the survey.

Participation of Scottish businesses in the survey will ensure that the Scottish Government and other organisations can help employers in Scotland by better understanding their needs in terms of skills, training and employment.  Your participation and support is much appreciated.
