A Flying Start: Local Biodiversity Action Plans in Scotland

Appendix 2: Habitats selected as LBAP priorities

The habitat priorities are shown in the following tables. Similar tables are available for species priorities in an electronic format. These are available on the accompanying disk or as part of this report on the Scottish Biodiversity Group website.

Habitats: These have been ordered in the same manner as the UK BAP Broad and priority habitat classification

Species: These have been ordered in the same manner as the UK BAP Steering Group report, by vernacular name, where possible

BAP Status

Habitats:

UK Broad habitats are shown in the first column

UK priority habitats are represented in bold font

Local priority habitats are represented in italic font

Species:

UK Priority Species are shown in large, bold font

UK conservation concern species are shown in small bold font

Local species are shown in small normal font

For species the BAP status columns also shows this information p=priority species, cc=conservation concern, l=local

Key to symbols
p = published plan
d = draft plan
s = published statement
* = selected as a priority. These may have action plans in the future or may be dealt with through habitat plans

Note
The following LBAPs have not yet determined priorities, therefore have not been included in this Appendix:
