These Good Practice Guides have been produced by the Scottish Executive Voluntary Issues Unit in consultation with the voluntary sector. They are intended to help Departments and Agencies of the Scottish Executive that have an interest in voluntary organisations, community groups or volunteers to carry out their responsibility to implement the commitments set out in the Scottish Compact. The Guides will be updated as needed to take account of developing practice and procedure.
