2 For related members of a household, the occupation (or former occupation) of the person with the largest total income (from all sources). Unrelated people are classified individually. A pensioner (or a widow / divorcee / etc) with means other than (or in addition to) the state pension and benefits is counted on the basis of his/her (or husband's) present or previous occupation.
