Overall direction and control of enforcement activity is exercised from the Agency's Headquarters in Edinburgh. Information is gathered, analysed and filtered in HQ before being transmitted as necessary to on-task patrol vessels, aircraft and shore-based fishery officers around the coast. Much emphasis is placed on the need to exploit the full range of capabilities of enforcement assets by co-ordinating information and deploying resources in the most effective integrated way. Details of the enforcement inventory are at Annex b.
