9.2 As usual, copies of replies received will be made available to the public on request, unless respondents indicate that all or part of their response is confidential.
9.3 All comments received on these proposals will be carefully considered, and will help the Scottish Executive to prepare a draft Bill. It is planned to publish this draft Bill in the Autumn.
9.4 There will be a further opportunity for comment on the terms of the draft Bill before the final version is introduced into the Scottish Parliament in the New Year. It will then be for the Parliament to consider.
9.5 The Scottish Executive believes that it is particularly appropriate that legislation on land reform should be amongst the first acts of our new Scottish Parliament. The proposals set out in this White Paper provide the basis for that long-awaited legislation.
