TRANSFER OF DOCUMENTATION TO OTHER SCOTTISH COURTS
AMENDMENT OF ACT OF ADJOURNAL - CONSOLIDATION 1988 ACT
OF ADJOURNAL (CONSOLIDATION AMENDMENT NO 3) 1991
Summary
1. The above Act of adjournal which came into force on 18
December 1991, provides that in proceedings relating to a probation order, a supervised
attendance order, a community service order or an order which imposed a fine, in a court
other than the court which made the order, the principal indictment, minute of proceedings
or notice of previous convictions need not be before the court provided that it has before
it copies of the principals of such documents certified as true copies by the clerk of
court which made the order.
2. The appropriate section of the National Objectives and
Standards for Social Work Services in the Criminal Justice System will be amended in due
course.
