1 No qualifications, or none found during the matching process. Details of the leavers’ Scottish Certificate of Education (SCE) qualifications are added by computer matching to the records held by the Scottish Examination Board (SEB). This process achieves a high rate of successful linkage, but in some cases mismatching or non-matching can occur. A detailed examination of the matching process has shown that these errors give rise to small underestimates of the number of qualifications held, but that this bias has been relatively constant over time.
2 Including O Grades D-E/4-5.
3 Including O Grades A-C/1-3.
