(2) Assistance provided under the Industrial Development Act 1982 and its predecessors
(3) Regional Enterprise Grant (REG) consists of 2 schemes - Regional Investment Grant and
Regional Innovation Grant. Both schemes commenced on 1 April 1988.
(4) HIE loans and equity are classed as non-preferential as these are deemed to be similar
to non-preferential assistance outside the HIE area.
