14.1 For SPS HQ/Area Director.

14.1.1 An early decision should be taken with regard to the future of Low Moss as part of the SPS Estate (paragraph 5.1.5).

14.2 For Area Director/Governor-in-Charge

14.2.1 An immediate and complete review of the laundry arrangements should be undertaken to assist the establishment in meeting the relevant SPS Operating Standards in relation to prisoners clothing and bedding (paragraph 7.14).

14.2.2 All prisoner programmes, including those which are drug-related, should in future be developed to match the aggregated needs of the majority of the establishment’s prisoners (paragraph 5.20).

14.2.3 A part-time Harm Reduction Drugs Worker should be appointed in the very near future (paragraph 5.21).

14.2.4 The number of telephones available for prisoners use should be increased in line with the establishment’s Strategic Bid (paragraph 3.14).
