7.2 Twenty nine percent of vacant land, where known, had a preferred or intended future use for residential purposes, followed by manufacturing (18 per cent), other general industries (13 per cent) and passive open space (10 per cent). The most common preferred or intended future use, where known, for derelict land was agriculture (29 per cent) followed by residential purposes and other general industries (both 13 per cent).
