In accordance with my terms of reference as HM Chief Inspector of Prisons for Scotland, I forward a report of an inspection recently carried out at HM Prison, Penninghame.

One formal recommendation has been made; a number of points of note and related matters have been drawn to the notice of the Acting Governor of the establishment and the Chief Executive of the Scottish Prison Service.
