LPCs, which are peculiar to Scotland, derive historically
from the inaccessability of some of the Courts in
outlying district and islands. They are nevertheless
subject to the provision of the Prison (Scotland) Rules:
our inspections of 11 Police Stations (and 80 cells)
currently take place on a triennial basis, and details of
the 1995 inspections are shown below: |
