Authorised absence in primary schools ranged between 4% and 9% across the authority.
Unauthorised absence in primary schools ranged between 0% and 2% across the authority.
Authorised absence in secondary schools ranged between 9% and 18% across the authority.
Unauthorised absence in secondary schools ranged between 0% and 1% across the authority.

Note 1: The number of half days authorised and unauthorised absence for each pupil assumed 380 half days in the school session.

Note 2: The percentages have been given as rounded figures for clarity. As a result, they may not add up to 100%.
