Welcome to the website of Education Research. Education Analytical Services division is responsible for the administration of policy on

  • Tourism, Culture and Sport Although historical information is still listed on ASU-TCS activity, the unit was split from EAS division in September 2007.

Analytical activity reflects these policy areas, with over twenty five social researchers, economists and statisticians working together to support policy colleagues and ensure that policy making in the Education Directorate is based on the best evidence available.

Further and Higher Education research have their own analytical services unit and.

The EAS website contains details of our current research programmes and research publications. It periodically announces new research for which we invite expressions of interest, including a Sponsored Research Programme. To the left is a link to the Scottish Education Research Database (SERD) - a new resource for researchers.
