| Section 42: Community bodies Subsection (1) defines a community body as a company limited by guarantee and lists the requirements which must be included in the memorandum and articles of association. Subsection (2) provides definitions of a "company limited by guarantee" and "sustainable development" where it relates to a community. Subsection (3) defines a community by reference to polling districts and those eligible to vote at local government elections, but allows Ministers to direct that a different definition may apply. Section 43: Provisions supplementary to section 42 Subsection (1) prohibits any community body, which has either registered an interest in land, or acquired land under the Bill, from amending its memorandum or articles of association without Ministers' written consent. |
