Annex D: List of major Scottish airports which may qualify to be mapped under Directive 2002/49/EC

The definition of a ‘major airport’ given in the END does not coincide with the definitions from which the Civil Aviation Authority’s statistics are compiled. It is therefore difficult, at this stage, to be certain about which airports will qualify as a ‘major airport’. The following airports are those considered most likely to meet the definition:

Glasgow
Edinburgh
Aberdeen
Glasgow Prestwick
