Public Service Reform Directorate

We are responsible for the Covid Recovery Strategy development and implementation, alongside public service reform, which includes:

• public bodies
• the strategic relationship with the third sector, including volunteering, charity law, social enterprise, fundraising and core third sector infrastructure
• open government
• the Scottish Leaders Forum and associated leadership development
• public bodies unit, including implementation of the Ryan Report

Our overarching aim is to accelerate the creation of person-centred, outcome-focussed public services, which address key priorities and deliver on the National Performance Framework.
