Scale Reading
Scale reading workshops follow the format of a structured "Introduction to Scale Reading" session followed by an informal "Bring and Read" session. The structured session allows beginners to receive basic training in scale reading while the informal session allows those with some experience of scale reading to receive assistance with specific problems they may be experiencing.
GIS
Introductory GIS training courses aim to provide a basic introduction to GIS through a series of demonstrations and exercises using fisheries-specific examples.
Further Information
Training is reviewed annually to identify new opportunities. To find out more about any of the training courses outlined above, please contact the SFCC.
