Any control work undertaken must comply with the technical guidance for that species.

If you are undertaking any control work on a designated site, you must demonstrate how your proposal meets the objectives of the site management statement/management agreement and that you have the written support of SNH for your proposal.
If you are proposing to undertake control work to support Biodiversity Action Plan priority species and habitats you must demonstrate how your proposal meets the objectives of the relevant Action Plan and that you have the written support of FCS or SNH.
