Who Can Make a Claim?

Claims can be made by the person who is contracted to carry out the activities as per the relevant agreement, or an agent acting on this person's behalf. The agent will have to be formally mandated before we can accept a claim from him or her on behalf of the contracted person.

For rural communities, there will be a designated lead person and it is he or she who should make claims. The designated lead person may also mandate an agent to act on his or her behalf.

An 'appropriate signature' can be the contracted person's, a mandated agent's or the designated lead person's for a rural community.
