Information and publicity

Under EC Regulation 1974/2006, Annex VI you must provide information and publicity on measures financed through the SRDP.

Information and communication material

Publications (such as booklets, leaflets and newsletters) and posters about measures part-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) must contain:

  • a clear indication on the title page of the EC's participation
  • the EC's emblem if the national or regional emblem is also used. The EC's emblem should be reproduced to the standards detailed in EC Regulation 1974/2006, Annex VI, section 4
  • publications must include references to the organisation responsible for the information content and to SGRPID

Websites about measures part-financed by EAFRD must mention the contribution of EAFRD at least on the Home page, and include a hyperlink to the European Commission website about EAFRD.

Plaques and billboards

Where total funding on a project exceeds €50,000 then you must put up an explanatory plaque. Where the total funding exceeds €500,000 you must put up a billboard.

The plaques and billboards must include:

  • A description of the project or operation
  • The European Community flag, to standards detailed in EC Regulation 1974/2006, Annex VI section4

Euro Flag

  • The statement 'The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development: Europe investing in rural areas'. This information shall take up at least 25% of the billboard or plaque.
