Scottish Agricultural Wages Board (SAWB)
The Scottish Agricultural Wages Board is an Executive Non-Departmental Public Body set up under the Agricultural Wages (Scotland) Act 1949. The SAWB exists to set minimum rates of pay and other conditions of service for agricultural workers in Scotland.
The current minimum rates of pay and other conditions are set out in The Agricultural Wages (Scotland) Order (No. 61)
CODE of CONDUCT for MEMBERS of the SCOTTISH AGRICULTURAL WAGES BOARD
Scottish Agricultural Wages Board (SAWB) met on 14 May 2014 and the Model Code of Conduct was an agenda item for this meeting. Copies of the model were distributed to Board members and the Chair of the Board asked that if anyone had any objections to the model being adopted then comment should be provided to the Board secretariat by 27 May 2014.
No comments have been received from SAWB Board members with respect to the model Code of Conduct, as presented, and it can now be read that the Board has adopted the model as set out in CODE of CONDUCT for MEMBERS of the SAWB
