MoneyWhat was the Agri-Environment Payment Rate Review?

The Agri-Environment Review was carried out in 2005. It was created because of concerns expressed by stakeholders about the revised payment rates for agri-environment schemes. A review group was established to carry out a review of the payment rates.

The review group consisted of representatives of the following organisations:

  • NFU Scotland (NFUS)
  • Scottish Rural Property and Business Association
  • Scottish Crofters' Foundation
  • Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH)
  • Scottish Agricultural College (SAC)
  • Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG) Scotland

  • The Scottish Organic Producers' Association
