TRANSFER OF PAYMENT ENTITLEMENTS

Farmers who have been awarded SFPS entitlements, and who have submitted a valid Single Application Form (SAF) in 2005, declaring at least 0.3 of a hectare, can transfer their entitlements to other farmers. A transfer can be done through sale, lease or inheritance, and can be with or without land (subject to certain conditions).

If you wish to find out more about this process please see Information Leaflet 12 - Single Farm Payment Scheme (SFPS) Transfer of Payment Entitlements (Sale, Lease or Inheritance). You must advise SEERAD of all transfers, and must do so by completing form SFPS 1 - Request to Transfer (Sale, Lease or Inheritance) Single Farm Payment Scheme (SFPS) Entitlements.

The Entitlement Transfer Unit will process all transfer applications. They are based at 10 Keith Street, Stornoway, HS1 2QG and can be contacted on 01851 702392, or alternatively you can fax them on 01851 705793.
