Agricultural Subsidy Payment Information
This section will allow you to view subsidy payments paid to date to Scottish agricultural businesses. 2 sets of data are available here. The first is limited to the specific schemes detailed and is updated weekly. The second covers all EC schemes that RPID administers and is updated only on 30 April of each year. The figures on the 2 sites are therefore not directly comparable.
The first dataset lists only payments made for claims submitted under the Single Farm Payment, Scottish Beef Calf, Energy Crops, Nuts Aid, Protein Crop Premium and Land Management Contract Menu Schemes from 2005 to the current time. The figures produced are net amounts after the deduction for modulation. They are also net of any deductions for cross-compliance and/or scheme penalties (details on scheme penalties can be found in the relevant scheme Notes for Guidance).
Viewing the information
The regions menu shows the total amounts which have been paid to agricultural businesses in Scotland to date . Excel documents containing the relevant information are also available. These documents contain data for the years: 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.
You can view the payment information for the whole of Scotland or broken down by the Scottish Government Rural Payments & Inspection Directorate ( SGRPID) Area Office regional boundaries. Each listing shows the name of the Business which received the subsidy and the total amount paid to date. By selecting the Business Name you can see a breakdown of the total payment by individual scheme. The lists can be re-ordered by Total Amount Paid and Year (from 2005 onwards).
The second set of data covers EC grant payments from 2007. Under a new EC Regulation (259/2008), from 30 April 2009 SGRPID will publish on a UK website, payment details for beneficiaries of all CAP schemes for the EC Financial Year of 16 October 2007 to 15 October 2008. This will include payments made under the Single Farm Payment Scheme and the Scotland Rural Development Programme for that year. These and future payment details will be available on this website for 2 years from the date of publication.
Detail of rural subsidy payment information has been available on this UK website since 30 September. However it contained only payments made under the European Agriculture Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) for Forestry and Agri-Environment Schemes.
