“Doing Better”
Brian Pack OBE was appointed in January 2012 to chair a joint industry-agency working group to consider how to reduce the red tape associated with farming, fulfilling a Scottish Government commitment to look at how best to help farmers free up time for farming by further reducing on-farm inspections and bureaucracy.
Mr Pack set out his proposed methodology for this work in “Doing Better – the Scoping Report for the Initiative to Reduce Red Tape in Agriculture”, published in June 2012. Further details of the initiative and links to the report and annexes are included in the news releases below.
The 'Doing Better' interactive Dialogue app is now live, you can get involved and make your views known here.
