Climate Change and Scottish Agriculture - Reports and Recommendations

Agriculture and Climate Change Stakeholder Group (ACCSG)

The Agriculture and Climate Change Stakeholder Group (ACCSG) was formed in November 2006 to consider the implications of climate change for Scottish Agriculture. Over the following 18 months the group met to discuss evidence and hear from experts.

A review was commissioned from Pareto Consulting on agriculture and climate change. The aim of this was to help develop suggestions for changes to agricultural practice and policies that could help Scottish agriculture adapt to climate change and contribute to its mitigation.

In May 2008 the stakeholder group published their own report which summarised their findings and made recommendations on the way forward.
