PART 4: GENERAL ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
The
Standard of Good Farming Practice,
described in Part 2 : Section 1 of the Explanatory Booklet,
and a set of
General Environmental Conditions,
described in Part 2 : Section 2 of the Explanatory Booklet,
together enshrine basic principles of good agricultural and
environmental practice. These apply to the whole of the
farm, croft or common grazing entered into the RSS and not
just to those areas or features that are being positively
managed under this scheme in the interests of
conservation.
This section is split into two
sub-sections:
a) General Environmental Conditions
b) Standard of Good Farming Practice
