The purpose of this section is to provide detailed information about each of the SIMD domains and how they can be used to monitor small area concentrations of deprivation within Scotland. The information in the sections below describes the characteristics of each of the domains, gives details of the quality of the data used in the domains and suggests how they may be used in practice.
