Pupil Attainment S4-S6

The percentage of pupils gaining 5 or more awards at SCQF level 5 or above (standard grade credit level or equivalent) by the end of S6 increased from 38% in 1998/99 to 47% in 2001/02. Over the last seven years this percentage has remained fairly consistent.

In S4 nine out of ten pupils gained an award at SCQF level 3 (Standard Grade foundation level) or above in both English and Maths in 2007/08; this has been consistent over a number of years.

Note: SCQF = Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework. SCQF level 5 includes Standard Grade at credit level and Intermediate 2 awards.
