Background
All School Education & Children Statistics publications produced by SEED: Information & Analytical Services Division (formerly known as Education & Children Statistics Unit [ECSU]) have been placed in full on the Scottish Executive web since 1998 as well as being printed in paper format. Since then we have increasingly moved from the publication of Statistical Bulletins to a shorter web only Statistical News Releases with accompanying tables. This web area provides links to the lists all publications since 1997. These are in date order and includes each publications web address, on The Scottish Executive Website. For more information on the various statistics teams within IAC Division then visit the School Statistics web section.
Publication Listings
The three Analytical Services Units (ASU) produce a series of annual statistical titles. The divisional support team maintain a manually updated Online Index of all publications produced for the Education and Children and Young Statistics themes, broken down by year of publication. The list also contains additional data sets.
In addition automated listings are created within the three separate statistics topic web sections that cover the appropriate ASU namely School Education; Children and Youth People; and Tourism Culture and Sport.
Forthcoming Statistical Releases
Forthcoming statistical releases for Education and other statistics topics are listed under the Search Statistics section. Information on the type, title, date of publication plus contact details are arranged by - forthcoming month; forthcoming year by statistics theme; and forthcoming year in date order. Some of our ASU (Children and young perople) publications are under the appropriate 'Health and Care' category rather than 'Education'.
