Title
Council Tax Receipts Return
Aim
The aim of the CTRR return is to monitor councils collection levels relating to council tax and community charge. Information is collected relating to the amounts billed and received and the year to which the payment refers.
This information is also required by ONS for national accounts purposes.
Frequency
The return is issued four times annually to collect data relating to the quarters ending March, June, September and December.
