IMP1A (quarterly): Discretionary and mandatory grants for house conversion, improvement and repair (private sector)
This monitors the amount of private sector grants paid (rather than approved) for house conversion, improvement or repair. It seeks information on the number of dwellings on which final grant is paid, together with the amount paid and the type of grant involved. This return was revised for 2004-05 as a result of legislative changes in 2003.
There are two versions of this return available for use, a new spreadsheet based return for those of you who would like to be able to submit the returns by email, and a pdf version, which should be faxed, or sent by post. If possible, please use the spreadsheet version.
IMP1B (monthly): Discretionary and mandatory grants for house conversion, improvement and repair (private sector)
This provides information on applications for private sector grants approved for either mandatory or discretionary grants. The information is widely used in monitoring the extent of improvement activity, including the extent to which BTS housing is being tackled through the use of grants, and the types of work being carried out. This return was revised for 2004-05 as a result of legislative changes in 2003.
Please note that details of applications approved for all private sector conversions, improvements and repairs should be included on this form.
As with the IMP1A, there are two versions of this return available for use, a new spreadsheet based return which we would encourage you to use if possible, and a PDF version. For those of you using the PDF version, there is also a continuation sheet available to enable you to record more entries if necessary.
IMP2 (annual): Permanent dwellings below the tolerable standard
Please note that due to ongoing data quality issues, this return has been suspended pending a review. We will be consulting with users and providers over the coming months about whether there is any need for us to collect this information directly from local authorities.
IMP3 (annual): Housing Action Areas: annual progress report
Please note that this return will also be reviewed during the coming financial year, however, we would be grateful if you could complete the return for 2008-09 to capture progress on any remaining Housing Action Areas.
This return provides detailed information on the progress of housing action areas. It is used in monitoring the extent to which HAAs are used and the extent to which they contribute to dealing with housing in poor condition. Summary information is collected for each Housing Action Area on the number of dwellings on final resolution and number on conclusion of HAA, action to date, including demolitions, improvements, dwellings acquired and the number of dwellings improved by agency eg owner occupier, private owners etc.
IMP5 (quarterly): HRA programme; improvement and repair, rehabilitation and environmental improvement
