Welcome to the Scottish Executive web-site where we present Scottish Economic Statistics 2008.

This annual publication draws together a wide range of previously published data about the Scottish economy. I hope that the publication will form an accessible source of primary Scottish data.

These data are regularly updated in between editions of Scottish Economic Statistics as new statistics become available and as the methodological approaches are reviewed and refined. These data are available after release on http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/Statistics/Browse/Economy/Publications or on request.
