Main Findings
Scottish Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in constant basic prices fell by 0.4 per cent during the second quarter of 2012.
Output in the Services sector grew by 0.2 per cent. Total output in the Production sector fell by 3.8 per cent, within which manufacturing output fell by 2.2 per cent. Output in the Construction sector grew by 2.0 per cent.
On an annual basis, comparing the most recent four quarters to the previous four quarters (4Q-on-4Q), GDP growth was flat (0.0 per cent).
