Main Findings
Scottish Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in constant basic prices fell by 0.1 per cent during the first quarter of 2012.
Output in the Services sector grew by 0.2 per cent. Total output in the Production sector grew by 1.2 per cent, within which manufacturing output grew by 0.9 per cent. Output in the Construction sector fell by 6.9 per cent.
On an annual basis, comparing the most recent four quarters to the previous four quarters (4Q-on-4Q), GDP grew by 0.2 per cent.
