Re-offending
The one year reconviction frequency rate for the 2009-10 cohort was 54.0 reconvictions for every 100 offenders, a significant decrease on the 2008-09 reconviction frequency rate of 59.6. Over the past eight years there has been a decline in the one year reconviction frequency rate. In 2002-03 the one year reconviction frequency rate was 63.9, whereas in 2009-10 it was 54.0; a reduction of nearly 10 reconvictions for every 100 offenders.
