Crime Victimisation

The Scottish Crime and Justice Survey 2008-09 estimates that 20.4% of adults in Scotland were the victim of at least one crime. This did not represent a statistically significant difference from the victimisation rate of 21.3% in 2005/06. The crime victimisation rate informs National Indicator 30 - a 2 percentage point reduction in overall crime victimisation rates by 2011.
