  • In order to make comparisons over time, the 2011 figure is evaluated without the PNP sector (£9 million), as PNP data is currently not available for previous years. Scottish GERD was £1,925 million in 2011, excluding the PNP sector. This is an increase of £22 million (in real terms) since 2010. In 2011, Scottish GERD increased by 1.2% in real terms compared to 2010 figures.
  • GERD was 1.56% of Scottish GDP in 2011, compared to 1.79% in the UK and 1.94% in the EU.
