 Farm Income Estimates

 

The first estimates for Scottish farm income in 2012 show a decrease of £111 million with increased costs - such as fuel and fertiliser - being partly to blame.  The figures include near-final estimates of Total Income from Farming (TIFF) for 2011, an initial estimate for 2012 TIFF and average Farm Business Income (FBI) estimates for 2011-12.

 

Average Farm Business Income(FBI) in 2011-12 was £45,000, a decrease of £1,000 (3 per cent) from 2010-11.
