Revisions to the 2003 to 2005 December Agricultural Census results
The release of the December 2006 Census results contains minor revisions for the years 2003, 2004 and 2005. These revisions have been made to correct an error in the June programs used to estimate agricultural activity for non-responders. This affects the December results as June values are used in estimating December values for holdings that are not sampled. Although most of these revisions are small, they are all in a downward direction. The links below show comparisons between the previously published results and the revised results.
Notes:
1. All figures have been rounded to the nearest 1000. The sum of individual items may not, therefore, equal totals.
2. Percent figures have been rounded to the nearest 0.1%. 0.0% represents a change of less than 0.1%.
3. The final results of the December 2006 Agricultural Census will be published on Wednesday 7th March 2007.
