An initial scoping study for a Scottish TSA was carried
out in the first half of 2003 by Professor Iain McNicoll of
Strathclyde University. This produced a framework for the
account, and raised issues for further research. It
contains background information on TSAs.

A preliminary TSA has now been produced for Scotland,
and the methodology and results are described in an article
in Scottish Economic Statistics 2004. Feedback on this is
