This Data Suppliers Section is designed to allow easy access to data request forms for Local Authority Grant Aided Expenditure ( GAE ) data contacts.
For a number of years, Statistical Support for Government Funding Allocation Branch has directly requested data needed for the GAE calculations. This information is not available from any other source and is used only for GAE allocation purposes.
The forms are in Microsoft Excel format (.xls extension). Please complete each form and 'Save As' an appropriate file name - this will also ensure that you can save the form in an appropriate directory. The files are password protected to prevent modification. The data will be extracted using an Excel macro programme, and amended forms cannot be accepted. Any comments either on the figures themselves or any other aspect of the form are welcome in the text box provided on each form. Please return completed forms to lgfstats@scotland.gsi.gov.uk.
